Mission Beach Location
The Strand, a peninsula, is one of the most popular beachside locations in the San Diego Coastal. Mission beach is in the center of this continuous stretch of beach that extends over two miles, beginning at the Mission Bay channel entrance in the east and ending at the north end of Pacific Beach. To the south of Mission Beach is the world's largest island National Park 'Hinchinbrook Island ' and also the San Diego River (with Ocean Beach on the opposite bank). On the west lies the Pacific Ocean.
